Beach House cafe and restaurant
Situated on the harbour side of the sand spit at Hengistbury Head, the Beach house enjoys stunning views across Mudeford harbour, Hengisbury Head and Mudeford Quay.
Hengistbury Head is a car free zone - with foot, bike or boat the favoured means of transport. Of course this is backed up by the 'Noddy train', a land train that runs from the Hengistbury Head car park and provides a fun method of reaching us, particularly if you have kids .
The Beach house is virtually opposite the Jetty for the Ferries. The mudeford ferry regularly maks the 5 minutre journey from Mudeford Quay, alternatively you can catch a ferry from outside the Boathouse ( our sister restaurant ) at Christchurch Quay.
This will allow you more time to enjoy the full splendour of the river Stour and Mudeford Harbour.
As you slip down the river, spotting the waterlife and enjoying the spectacular view, you may find yourself wondering why you dont visit the Beach House just a little bit more often!
Why not visit the Beach House Cafe at Hengistbury Head
whether by foot, car, Noddy train, bike or boat, it makes the
Journey all the more worthwhile!
